Job Description
Hello Everyone,
Optum is hiring Java Technical Lead at Gurgaon who can join us on short notice.
Primary Skills: Java, Azure/AWS, Spring boot, Microservices, Elastic Search, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience: 7 yrs to 10 yrs
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven experience managing teams of software engineers, ideally in a fast-paced or agile environment
- Experience with Java, Azure/AWS, Spring boot, microservices, Elastic Search, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies (terraform, Azure Blob, Azure functions, AKS) and scalable architecture
- Solid knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and guide team members through complex challenges
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with distributed systems and/or complex architectures
- Experience with performance tuning, large-scale data processing
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with data security, compliance, and privacy regulations
