Job Description

Domain knowledge

• Interior Plastic (soft/hard) Trims - [Instrument Panel (IP) assembly comprising - Main Substrate Lower, Upper, Defroster Panel and Box, Knee Bolster, Sealing Foam, Air Duct, Console Duct Adapter, Center Stack, Finish Panel and etc & Door Trims assembly]
• Interior Structural- [Cross-Car Beam (CCB) assembly comprising design responsibility with Sheet Metal Bracket for the end-to-end design of CCB/Sheet parts/brackets such as IP Center Support, Reinforcement IP Center Upper, Steering Colum, IP Support Lower and Upper, Air bag Support and Mounding, IP End Support, PDL Support, Brackets, and etc]

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables:

• Ability to perform for end-to-end design on New Product Design for (NPD) Instrument Panel (IP) commodity.
• Experience with multiple programs, managing project work from concept through production release.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Excellent in CATIA V5, including Generative Shape Design, Part Design, Assembly, and Drafting workbenches.
• Conversant with Vehicle Architecture, Vehicle Aggregate Groups, Sub-Groups, Systems and Sub-Systems.
• Expertise in Interior Trims Design and Development Door Trims, Hard Trims, IP etc.,
• Ability to ground-up design of all trims (Plastics) components through detailed design and delivery into production.
