Job Description
- As an Electrical Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing electrical layouts and designs for large-scale EPC projects. Your expertise in SP3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD will be essential in ensuring the success of our multidisciplinary engineering team. - Develop and modify electrical layouts, SLDs, grounding, lighting, and cable routing drawings for industrial and infrastructure EPC projects. - Prepare 3D electrical models using SP3D and ensure seamless integration with other disciplines. - Create and revise 2D drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD in line with project requirements. - Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design compatibility and project success. - Interpret engineering specifications, standards, and client requirements to deliver high-quality design packages. - Participate in design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support project delivery schedules. - Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other relevant standards. - Provide support during construction and commissioning phases as required. Your proficiency in SP3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD for electrical design will be crucial for this role. Additionally, your strong understanding of EPC project workflows, layout development, equipment arrangement, cable tray routing, and earthing systems will be highly valued. Familiarity with international electrical standards and codes such as IEC, NEC, and IEEE is essential for success in this position. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills are also key competencies required. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design within EPC or engineering consultancy environments.
