Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Lead - Testing & Inspection in Quality Assurance QHSE at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, your main responsibility will be to oversee and ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing. This role involves implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing audits and compliance, and leading root cause analysis to resolve quality issues. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction, regulatory adherence, and upholding the organization's quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that tests strictly adhere to standard test methods - Ensure technical validity of results - Overall control of SPTL-LABs activities - Control of calibration of test equipment, standards & reference materials - Control on preventive maintenance of test equipment & apparatus - Estimation of uncertainty in measurement - Control of test data - Carry out periodic customer satisfaction surveys & analysis - Ensure participation in inter-lab comparison & proficiency testing - Ensure confidentiality of customer information & proprietary rights - Conduct all cross checks, quality control checks, repeatability tests and initiate appropriate corrections/corrective actions in case of nonconforming test work/undesirable situations Qualifications Required: - Behavioral competencies: Impact and Influence, Information Seeking, Initiative, Innovative Thinking - Functional competencies: Financial, Operational, People, Strategic About the Company: Sterlite Electric is India's leading integrated power transmission developer and solutions provider, focused on addressing complex challenges in the sector by tackling the key constraints of time, space, and capital.
