Job Description
- As a Manager/Sr. Manager in Accounting, Finance, Compliance, and Taxation based in Pune (on-site), you will play a crucial role in leading and managing client accounting, financial compliance, tax management, and financial control functions. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing all aspects of accounting operations such as AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings. - Managing financial reporting as per Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and IFRS standards. - Leading client accounting services to ensure timely and accurate financial deliverables. - Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements like GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other regulatory obligations. - Managing internal and external audits, collaborating with auditors and regulatory bodies. - Developing and enforcing robust internal controls and financial governance processes. - Supervising tax planning, computation, filing of returns, and assessments. - Preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and MIS reports. - Leading financial risk management and maintaining strict adherence to financial policies. - Driving process improvements and automation initiatives in finance operations. - Mentoring and developing a high-performing accounting and finance team. - Supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis. Your key skills and competencies should include: - Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance frameworks. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Preferred background for this role: - Previous experience in client accounting, financial services, or consulting firms. - Experience in managing multi-entity, multi-location accounting and finance operations. - Exposure to international accounting standards and cross-border compliance would be advantageous.
