Job Description
- As a Senior Associate in the Supply Planning team at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in providing Material Planning support for an Aviation major in the DRP Materials Planning Group. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing Exception messages for assigned parts to maintain optimum inventory levels meeting the CSL - Understanding Forecasting, MPS, and order management processes - Releasing the planned demand to requisition stage - Managing MTO/Dual deplete process - Overlap management for onboarding the new supplier - Workflow process by negotiating with upstream and downstream on material allocation - Inventory optimization through push out process - Aligning supply schedules as per S&OP cycle changes - Pulling in late supplies based on Forecast and Sales order demand - Cancelling materials not required for the supply chain - Handling e-mail queries from Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Sourcing, and Fulfillment teams - Collaborating effectively with the sourcing team for schedule alignments - Understanding Order policy MOQ, Fixed days of supply, Fixed order quantity - Creating reports and dashboards - Utilizing ERP knowledge and Analytical skills - Leveraging Strong Excel base skills You will be required to work with available tools & IT Systems such as Impact (Sourcing), Advance Planning System (APS), PAB (Projected Available Balance Report), and Critical Material report, among others. Additionally, you should be comfortable with US (Night) shift timings. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum qualifications: - Freshers are eligible - Any graduate degree/MBA or equivalent with a strong academic record Preferred qualifications: - Previous experience in a Supply Chain Management domain/email/voice - Working knowledge of MS-Office - SCM certifications - Familiarity with any programming language/coding (e.g., MS Access) - Basic Knowledge about software tools like Spotfire, Tableau, Python - Application knowledge - Oracle, Demantra, Mainframes - Effective probing skills and analyzing/understanding skills - Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach - Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with a neutral English accent - Strong attention to detail Join us at Genpact and be a part of our global professional services and solutions firm dedicated to creating lasting value for clients.,
