Job Description

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretary with 1-2 years of experience to join our company and provide crucial support for corporate governance and compliance functions. The Company Secretary will manage the company's legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations for warrants, IPOs, preferential allotments, etc. File company annual documents with ROC or other regulatory bodies. Maintain various statutory registers of the company.

    • Documentation Management: Oversee end-to-end documentation processes, including creation, review, and validation.

    • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, verify accuracy, and ensure required approvals are obtained.

    • Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, legal, and clients to facilitate smooth processes.

    • Record Keeping: Maintain organized documentation records for audits and reviews.

    • Reporting: Prepare compliance reports for management detailing activities, risks, and corrective measures.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

    • Professional qualification in Company Secretarial practice is required.

    • 1-2 years of experience as a Company Secretary, Legal Counsel, or in a related role in a corporate or legal environment.

    • Strong understanding of corporate law, governance practices, and compliance regulations, including financial regulations (for listed companies).

    • Knowledge of FEMA, Investment, Accounting, and Management practices.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
