- Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer in Services at Mastercard, you will have the opportunity to build a high-performance analytics platform that enables businesses worldwide to extract maximum value from their data. You will be a key player in a rapidly growing organization, collaborating with experienced engineers to tackle challenging problems. Your role will involve shaping the office and team culture while contributing to the growth of the Data & Services Platforms team in Pune. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop state-of-the-art service-oriented software architectures - Produce well-structured designs using various design patterns that maintain a clear separation of concerns - Assist in leading the development team and act as a technical resource for team members - Lead planning and scoping features for the team - Create cutting-edge algorithms and analytical techniques capable of handling on-the-fly processing across numerous dimensions - Develop a suite of web applications and enhance product capabilities - Innovate with new technologies to work with large data sets - Push the boundaries of analytics and scalable applications - Collaborate with exceptional peers across teams - Apply computer science, math, and statistics skills to solve complex problems for large organizations - Mentor the team and provide guidance to enhance product development quality Qualifications Required: - Full stack engineer with experience in UI, Microservices development, and Database management - Deep understanding of core technologies including C#, Python, SQL Server, React, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS/Azure) - Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus - Proficiency in various design patterns, algorithms, and data structures - Passion for solving complex real-world problems - Initiative and creativity in approaching challenges - Ability to work effectively in small, collaborative project teams - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,
