Job Description
- As a QA cum PM with 3+ years of experience, you will play a critical role in establishing and leading the QA function for a fast-growing B2B SaaS company located in Lucknow. You will be responsible for transforming chaos into quality by defining and implementing robust QA processes and methodologies to ensure reliable platform performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Build the Foundation: Define, implement, and own the company's end-to-end QA strategy, establishing processes, standards, and metrics to enhance product quality significantly. - Lead & Mentor: Lead and upskill the team of Quality Engineers, providing technical guidance and training to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. - Drive Testing Excellence: Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test suites, ensuring thorough coverage for various types of testing including API, UI/UX, regression, load, and stress testing. - Champion a Quality Culture: Advocate for quality across the software development lifecycle, collaborating with Product, Development, and Support teams to embed quality checks at every stage. - Manage & Report on Quality: Establish and manage a defect-tracing process, track key quality metrics, and provide stakeholders with clear visibility into progress, bottlenecks, and successes. - Optimize & Innovate: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance team productivity by staying current with new tools and innovations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a lead or management role. - Hands-on experience building and scaling QA processes and teams in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or startup environment. - Expertise in establishing QA methodologies, creating test strategies, plans, and implementing robust defect management lifecycles. - Strong experience with manual and automated testing for web applications. - Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as Jira, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter. - Leadership skills with a passion for upskilling teams and driving cultural change. - Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
