Technical Project Manager Java, PSU Banking Domain
Location: Navi Mumbai (Seawoods) Work from office
Education: BE, B Tech, MCA or equivalent (valid degree required)
Role Overview
The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage enterprise-level projects within the PSU banking domain, leveraging deep expertise in Java technologies and hands-on experience in public sector banking environments. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of driving project success, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering collaborative team dynamics.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project management for multiple concurrent banking technology initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
- Lead technical teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve project goals and maintain productivity.
- Prioritize tasks and features based on business requirements, stakeholder input, and resource availability.
- Coordinate with public sector bank clients to understand project needs, deliver solutions, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Develop and deploy enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Implement Agile-Scrum methodologies for iterative development, continuous integration, and rapid delivery of features.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and banking best practices throughout all phases of project execution.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Resolve technical issues, mitigate project risks, and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the banking domain, with exposure to various portfolios and project types.
- Expertise in Java-J2EE, Java Web Services, RESTful APIs, and database management.
- Proficient in Spring Boot, Microservices design, and Java application deployment.
- Strong background in Agile-Scrum project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering complex technical projects within public sector banks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site at Navi Mumbai (Seawoods) location.
- Valid technical degree (BE, B Tech, MCA, or equivalent).
Additional Responsibilities
- Facilitate technical training and knowledge sharing sessions for team members.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and innovation within the organization.
- Support pre-sales activities, including client presentations and proposal development, as needed.
