Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Citrix Administrator to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Citrix environments, providing secure virtual desktop services, and ensuring seamless access for users. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and a strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting of tickets for the Citrix environment and drive towards resolution.
Install, configure, and manage the Citrix Xen Desktop farm (latest version 7.x).
Manage Citrix Xen Server farms across multiple sites.
Create Citrix VMs/Clones and provide them via provisioning servers.
Handle backup/hotfix installations on Citrix Xen Server.
Monitor and manage Netscaler, Cloud Connectors, and Storefront Servers.
Publish applications/desktops via Citrix DaaS.
Support and maintain test and production environments.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers and SAP internal departments on related support activities.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continual service improvements.
Mandatory Skills
More than 5 years of relevant experience in IT with a minimum of 3 years in Citrix Xen Server administration.
Expert knowledge of Citrix Xen Desktop on Citrix Xen Server administration/VMware ESX.
Experience with Cloud Provisioning and StoreFront.
Strong troubleshooting skills in Citrix environments.
Ability to work in a 24/7 support shift environment.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of MS SQL.
Certification in CITRIX is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of administration of NetScaler & StoreFront.
Experience with Design IT process (ITSM/ITIL process), especially incident, change, and problem management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicts effectively.
Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Customer and team-oriented mindset.
