Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 procurement professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle in SAP, including PR creation, PO issuance, GRN, invoice verification, and PO closure.
- Design and maintain procurement dashboards and trackers for spend analysis, team performance, and SLA adherence using Excel or Power BI.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable tax regulations (GST, TDS, import duties) and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, IT) to align procurement strategies with business goals.
- Lead and establish communication with the clients.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement process and data accuracy.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and rotational shifts based on business needs.
- Support urgent procurement cycles, month-end closures, and critical project timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree ,Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP , HANA, ECC MM, SD, FI/CO modules.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and procurement analytics tools.
- SAP or Supply Chain certifications are a plus.
