- Job Description You are an Engineering Graduate with excellent verbal & written communication skills. You should have leadership experience in managing Large and complex Oracle Databases Installations and Projects. Being a team player is essential for you. You possess excellent Requisite Core Oracle Database Skill Sets and have worked on Database Versions 10g, 11g, and 12c, 19c Hands-on. With a minimum of 12 Years of Relevant Experience, you have worked extensively on Database Upgrades/ Platform Migrations/Backup and Recovery/Maintenance. Your knowledge on Database Options including RAC/ASM/ Active Data Guard is excellent. Problem management and providing workarounds in crisis situations are part of your expertise. Managing large customer engagements is an area where you have experience. As a Hands-on engineer, you provide Technology Leadership to the team. Responsibilities - Responsible for managing and supporting database platforms - Work closely with the partners, application support teams, technical support team - As a Senior Member of the team, recognize areas for improvement in the team - Take appropriate action to initiate changes - Recommend and implement database security policies, database backup, recovery, and redundancy strategies - Implement automated monitoring to ensure proactive handling of issues - Work independently to perform database performance analysis, capacity planning, system sizing, and ongoing maintenance and recommend best practices - Migrate customer on-premise environments to Oracle Public Cloud - Act as a mentor for the team and conduct knowledge sharing sessions with colleagues About Us You will be a part of Oracle, a world leader in cloud solutions that uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's challenges.
