Job Description

Configure, maintain, and optimize company servers, systems, and hardware

Manage LAN, WAN, VPNs, and other network components

Provide timely technical support for hardware, software, and network issues

Monitor system performance and network activity using monitoring tools

Implement and maintain IT security protocols, firewalls, and access controls

Ensure data protection through regular backups and recovery processes

Install, configure, and update applications and system software

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues to minimize downtime

Document IT infrastructure, system configurations, and troubleshooting logs

Collaborate with IT team members on projects and infrastructure improvements

Qualifications

Experience: 5 8 years in system administration or IT support

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux-based systems

Expertise in networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs

Hands-on experience with Active Directory, user account management

Proficient in troubleshooting complex IT issues

Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Awareness of IT security best practices

Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

CompTIA Network+ or Security+

Linux certifications (RHCSA or equivalent)

Personal Traits

Proactive and detail-oriented

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and within a team
