Job Description

* Possess knowledge about the Tandem architecture and various features of Tandem.
* Basic idea of how the fault-tolerant feature of Tandem can be implemented in an application.
* Good hands-on experience in TAL programming. Should be experienced to address memory issues.
* Good knowledge in TACL commands and common Tandem tools/utilities like - FUP, INSPECT, ENFORM, SCUP, SQLCI, Netbatch, Spoolcom and Peruse).
* Will be able to write and debug macros and routine.
* Strong knowledge on PATHWAY sub-system.
* Basic knowledge how requestors/client communicate with servers.
* Elementary knowledge of table partitioning/table/views indexing and its benefits.
* Strong understanding of Guardian Procedure calls
* Good hands-on experience in debugging the processes and analysis of save abend files
* Should have merchant acquiring and switching experience
* Should have knowledge on ISO 8583 and implementation of new features/products
