Job Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced, grounded, and forward-thinking
Head of Human Resources to lead their people strategy across a diverse and decentralized
workforce. This includes managing talent across multiple project sites, building compliant
and humane labor systems, elevating recruitment standards, and fostering a values-driven,
welfare-first organizational culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Design and implement an HR roadmap aligned with Grotechs growth trajectory
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on organization design, talent, and workforce
development.
Lead change management initiatives and enable future-ready leadership capabilities
Workforce Management & Field HR
Oversee HR operations across corporate, project, and site environments
Ensure smart deployment, rotation, and support for execution teams at scale
Develop scalable models for manpower planning and workforce productivity
Compliance & Contract Labor Oversight
Ensure full adherence to labor laws (CLRA, PF, ESIC, BOCW, etc.)
Establish and audit vendor/labor contractor compliance frameworks
Build grievance mechanisms and documentation systems that are both robust and
field-compatible
Talent Acquisition & Development
Redesign hiring strategies for site roles, technical talent, and leadership
Build internal capacity through skilling programs, with focus on project-readiness and
safety
Deploy performance management frameworks linked to execution KPIs
Integrate on-ground staff with the core team through thoughtful communication and
engagement
Promote workplace dignity, recognition, and welfare, especially among contract labor
Be a visible and respected cultural custodian across all touchpoints
Job Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years of HR leadership in infrastructure, EPC, construction, or multi-site
field-intensive environments
Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a recognized institution
Capabilities:
Expert understanding of labor regulations, contractor ecosystems, and site HR
Strong planning and communication skills to align HR strategy with operational
realities
Balance of strategic acumen and hands-on problem-solving
Integrity, emotional intelligence, and ability to lead diverse teams across regions
