Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive accuracy in reporting across GlobalBees and its portfolio brands. The role is best suited for professionals with a Big 4 background and strong industry experience, who are eager to take ownership of controllership functions and partner with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & AR Management
- Conduct timely Sales reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Receivable reconciliation and coordinate with stakeholders for timely collections.
Cost & Expense Verification
- Review and verify COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Oversee Accounts Payable, ensuring correctness of expenses booked.
Brand-Level Accuracy
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of brand-level books of accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Felix & brand finance teams) to streamline accounting processes.
Financial Reporting & Control
- Own and maintain the Trial Balance (TB) and overall financials.
- Drive monthly MIS closure and reconcile with TB.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements as per Ind AS.
Audit & Compliance
- Lead statutory and internal audit closures, ensuring timely completion.
- Implement and maintain strong accounting policies.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- CA qualified with 2-7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Articleship or experience from a Big 4 firm is preferred, with subsequent industry experience in controllership, audits, and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.
- Strong exposure to reconciliations, MIS, and consolidation.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial tools.
