Job Description
- As a Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of products and providing technical assistance to customers. Your proficiency in Ruby, SQL, and UI debugging skills will be essential in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently. You will collaborate with internal teams to identify patterns for product improvements and maintain detailed documentation for future reference. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Support: Assist customers via email, chat, and ticketing systems for timely issue resolution. - Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in backend systems, database queries, and front-end problems. - Ruby & Ruby on Rails Support: Utilize Ruby and Ruby on Rails knowledge to improve customer experiences. - SQL Queries: Troubleshoot database queries and data integrity issues using SQL expertise. - UI Debugging: Identify and resolve front-end bugs, collaborating with development teams. - Collaboration: Communicate common issues with engineering, product, and QA teams for product feature enhancements. - Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for troubleshooting steps and resolutions. - Escalation: Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineers or product teams for efficient resolution. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Ruby programming experience for backend issue resolution. - SQL expertise for optimizing database queries. - Basic UI Debugging skills for front-end issue resolution. - Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability. - Familiarity with Ruby on Rails (preferred). - Experience with issue tracking systems like Jira, Zendesk, or Freshdesk. - Effective communication with technical and non-technical customers. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: - Web development technologies experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git. - Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.,
