Job Description
- As an IoT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Pentair, you will be responsible for testing activities for IoT projects in the Smart Products & IoT Strategic Innovation Centre in India team. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Defining Testing strategy for IoT applications - Test Automation of API, mobile and web applications - Testing using IoT Device simulator - Writing and executing test cases in the following areas of IoT application: - Cloud Server Side / API - Web Application - Mobile App (iOS & Android) - Integration with Enterprise systems Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Additionally, you should have experience in the following areas: - APIs testing using postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured - All stages of Software testing including Requirement gathering, Requirement Traceability matrix, and Preparation of Test plan, Test case, Test Bed setup, Test Scripts & Defect tracking by using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence etc. - Validation& Verification of Software by conducting various types of testing - Mapping business requirements into test specification, designing test cost estimations, preparing test scope & approach - Complete Software testing life cycle through SDLC - SCRUM/Agile process, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), project planning, tracking, monitoring, and risk management - Designing and building automated test frameworks for web & mobile applications using automation tools & frameworks like Selenium with Java/C#, Appium, Test project - Experience in AWS Cloud environment - Load & Performance testing using Jmeter for large applications - Source code control tools like Git/SVN along with documentation tools like Confluence, Wiki Moreover, you are expected to possess the following skills and abilities: - Positive attitude and commitment to high standards of performance - Innovative and entrepreneurial attitude to stay updated on the latest technologies - Ability to provide leadership to technology team while managing multiple tasks and responsibilities - Excellent communication and presentation skills for interactions with various stakeholders This Full-Time position is located in Noida and requires 2-5 years of experience with a notice period of 0-15 days.,
