Job Description
- As a Senior Programmer / Developer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects from conceptualization to final execution. This includes handling scope and change requests, defining, developing, and documenting software business requirements in collaboration with internal users, analyzing existing business systems, and conducting pilot testing to gather insights on functionality and usability issues. Recommending software improvements, providing technical guidance to junior team members, creating technical specifications, and overseeing code quality and performance are key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and deliver projects from conceptualization to final execution - Handle scope and change requests - Define, develop, and document software business requirements in collaboration with internal users - Analyze existing business systems and conduct pilot testing to gather insights on functionality and usability issues - Recommend software improvements - Provide technical guidance to junior team members - Create technical specifications - Oversee code quality and performance - Improve the technical competence of the team through training - Monitor development activities - Optimize resource utilization - Liaise with vendors for software implementation - Generate reports on project status - Develop user manuals - Collaborate with senior management, customers, staff members, and external advisors - Participate in Performance Improvement Meetings Qualifications Required: - Extensive knowledge of software development - Expertise in JavaScript, C++, PHP, and SQL - Familiarity with web frameworks and data privacy laws - Strong supervisory, communication, and problem-solving skills - B.Tech. in IT / B.E. in CS qualification required - M.Tech. / M.E. / M.B.A. / M.C.A. qualification would be a plus In this role, you will face challenges such as managing customer and staff expectations effectively, communicating developments and problems tactfully, and being sensitive to the needs of colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
