Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Senior Embedded Hardware and Software IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end IoT solutions. Your expertise in embedded systems, circuit design, firmware development, and cloud connectivity will be vital in creating innovative connected products that incorporate sensors, microcontrollers, communication modules, and cloud services. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of embedded hardware systems for IoT applications, including microcontrollers, sensors, and wireless communication. - Develop and optimize firmware in C/C++ or other low-level languages for microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, and STM32. - Design PCBs using tools like Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad, and oversee prototype testing. - Integrate devices with IoT cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT. - Develop and implement secure communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, BLE, and LoRa. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and data science to ensure seamless product integration. - Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of hardware and firmware systems. - Document system architecture, development process, and technical specifications. - Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in embedded systems and IoT. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in embedded system development and hardware design. - Expertise in embedded C/C++, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller platforms. - Experience with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, NB-IoT. - Proficiency in PCB design, schematic capture, and layout tools. - Hands-on experience with debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG. - Understanding of IoT architecture and device-to-cloud connectivity. - Knowledge of power management for low-power IoT devices. - Familiarity with DevOps tools for OTA firmware updates and version control.,
