Job Description
- As a Lead Consultant, SAP Basis Administrator at Genpact, you will be responsible for the following: - Deep knowledge and experience in SAP Basis tasks such as technical planning, installations, and configurations on SAP HANA and S/4 HANA, including Public or Private Cloud (AZURE or AWS). - Proficiency in tasks like upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates, and familiarity with BRTOOLS for Space management. - Applying Support Package, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration, Transport administration, and maintaining operation modes and profile parameters. - Hands-on experience in SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP system refresh tasks, and Client copies. - Monitoring SAP using SOLMAN 7.2, systems Logs, Work processes overview, Lock entries, Updates, background jobs, system health check, and CloudWatch for AWS part. - Incident Management including troubleshooting issues from OS level, providing Performance analysis, and suggesting solutions. - Performance optimization and tuning using SQL traces. - Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, and system integration. - Experience in ERP migration from On-Premises to AWS, system migration using DMO tool, and upgrades. - AWS administration and infrastructure deployment (S3, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch). Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications: - Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration. - Technical certification in Azure or AWS would be highly beneficial. - Ability to deliver high-quality and reliable software by collaborating with the team. - Outstanding analytical skills, ability to drive complex technical solutions, and good verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent customer-facing skills including conducting technical briefings, demonstrations, status reports, and resolving impediments.
