Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Healthcare Quality Measure and Reporting software.
• Analyze and tune performance of stored procedures.
• Analyze business requirements and specifications to determine an optimal

development strategy and timeline.

• Participate in Industry Certification activities, particularly annual NCQA HEDIS

certification.

• Provide Quality Measures assistance to Customer Support and Project

Management.

• Provide development assistance to DevOps and QA in cases of job failures or

errors.

• Deploy Healthcare Quality Measure Software.
• Attend Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on

assigned project.

Preferred candidate profile

• 36 years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake-specific features (e.g., Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Streams, Tasks).
• Expert-level SQL programming with a focus on complex query writing and stored procedure development.
• Proven experience in query and performance optimization within Snowflake or similar MPP databases.
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience working with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating with Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python or SQL scripting for automation and data transformation is preferred.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
