Job Description

    As a member of Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS), you will be responsible for establishing long-term relationships with Oracle's customers through annuity-based service contracts and project-based one-time services. CSS services team sells a broad IT-services portfolio on both fixed price and T&M basis, mainly catering to large Oracle customers with critical applications and processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator/Consultant/Support Engineer - Must be available to work in a 24X7 capacity - Installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle Database/RAC 11g, 12c, 19c - Expertise in Oracle Database Architecture, RAC, and Performance Tuning - Proficient in Database troubleshooting & performance tuning - Experience with Database upgrades and patching - Knowledge of Performance Tuning of Oracle Instance and SQL Tuning - Strong communication and customer management skills - BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred - Oracle Database/Exadata/OCI Certification - Preferred - Optional skills in PL SQL, SQL, Exadata, Goldengate are a Plus! - Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is beneficial - Sharp technical troubleshooting skills - Understanding of support processes - Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans - Proactive approach to identifying services that benefit the customer - Facilitate issues with Development and Support - Strong analytical skills - Some travel may be required **Qualification Required:** - BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred - Oracle Database/Exadata/OCI Certification - Preferred - Optional skills of PL SQL and SQL, Exadata, Goldengate are a Plus! In addition to the above responsibilities, your role within the Support organization involves delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base. You will serve as an advocate for customer needs, resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries and addressing technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Electronic Support Services.
