Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Should have good knowledge of EIA/EMP preparation, environmental laws, and pollution control norms.
Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for water supply and sewerage projects.
Ensure compliance with MoEF, CPCB, TNPCB, and World Bank/ADB environmental guidelines.
Prepare and review environmental reports, mitigation plans, and monitoring frameworks.
Supervise implementation of environmental safeguards during construction and operation.
Liaise with government departments, consultants, and contractors for statutory clearances.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and training on environmental best practices.
