Job Description
- As a Finance Accounting Sr. Manager at our company, your role will involve managing professional team(s) and department(s) to achieve desired results. You will be responsible for integrating subject matter expertise within a defined area and contributing to standards that others will operate by. It is essential to possess in-depth understanding of how different areas integrate within the sub-function and coordinate with the objectives of the entire function. Your role also requires basic commercial awareness and developed communication skills to guide and influence colleagues and occasional external customers. Full management responsibility of a team, including tasks such as performance evaluation, budgeting, and planning will be under your purview. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas - Leading, directing, and managing a team of professionals - Providing advice to internal clients on business trends, issues, and strategy implications - Appropriately assessing risk in business decisions and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations - Acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members - Managing teams effectively and independently Qualifications required for this role: - 6-10 years of relevant experience - In-depth knowledge of Local and US GAAP, finance functions, and systems - Management experience of a team of professionals - Familiarity with banking products, reporting requirements, legal vehicle governance, and control - CPA or Chartered Accountant certification Education: - Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred In your role as a Finance Accounting Sr. Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering a full range of services to businesses/geographic regions, interacting with peers internally and externally, and ensuring the firm's reputation and assets are safeguarded. You will need to apply sound ethical judgment, escalate control issues, and supervise activities effectively.
