Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Lead Consultant, Java/Oracle Developer at Genpact, you will be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/Database environment. Your role involves creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. - Lead and implement initiatives to deliver business objectives. - Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. - Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure alignment. - Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues. - Lead/conduct detailed code-reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Decompose business requirements, translating them into detailed design specifications and code. - Interact with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements reflecting business and end-customer needs. - Assess costs and benefits for different solutions, recommending/approving appropriate designs. - Design solutions, write code, perform unit testing, develop documentation, and facilitate final delivery. - Support production issues, including root-cause analysis and diagnosis. - Devise new algorithms and data structures in alignment with architectural patterns. - Build supportable, scalable solutions achieving common assets aspiration. - Recommend or automate approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes/systems for improved operational efficiency. - Support management of specific project deliverables & outcomes. - Identify opportunities to strengthen development capability through expertise sharing, mentoring, and building communities of practice. Qualification Required: - Minimum Qualifications: BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA, Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: Strong proficiency in Core Java, Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git/SVN), Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, Capital markets domain knowledge (a plus), Excellent communication skills Please note that this job is based in India-Mumbai, is a full-time position, and requires a Bachelor's/Graduation/Equivalent level of education.,
