About Design & Build :
As Shapoorji and Pallonji has diversified into different sectors like Engineering and Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, MEP, etc. Under Engineering and Construction, we have a segment name Design & Build in which we design inhouse and also build i.e. Execute on the site as well. SP E&C offers Design-Build and General Contracting Services for IT Parks & SDCs, Airport Terminals, Industrial & Manufacturing Plants, R&D Centres, Pharma Facilities, Power Plants & Oil Refineries, Townships, Smart Cities, Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Public Buildings, Banks, Hospitals, Hotels, Residential Condominiums, Sports Infrastructure and Institutional Campuses.
Under Design & Build we have all the specialist like Architectures, Structural, MEP, Contract, Proposal, Horticulture, etc
Designation- Manager Contracts
Experience
- 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in Contract Administration, Legal Support, and Risk Management within the EPC / Infrastructure / Construction industry.
- Proven track record in contract drafting, tender review, claim management, and dispute resolution across various stages of the project lifecycle.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination involving design, procurement, and execution teams, along with exposure to Client and Vendor negotiations.
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in engineering Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical.
- Additional qualifications or certifications in Contract Management, Construction Law, or Legal Studies (e.g., NICMAR, LLB, FIDIC training, or equivalent) will be preferred.

Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation
- Provide contract drafting, review, and negotiation support to the Business Development and Tendering teams, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and risk management requirements.
- Draft and vet tender-stage and post-award agreements, work orders, and amendments with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
Tendering & Pre-Contract Support
- Review Project Tender Packages to identify and address contractual and legal risks.
- Prepare pre-tender review documents and pre-bid queries for Design & Build (D&B) proposals.
Project Execution & Administration
- Extend contract support to active D&B projects,
- Preparation of Contract Administration Documents (CAD).
- Support Design Team, Regional/Head Office teams with contractual correspondence related to variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
Stakeholder Support
- Advise and support Heads of Departments (HODs) of design functions, team leads, and project leaders in contract interpretation, summarization, and commercial claims.
- Facilitate coordination between legal, design, commercial, and project execution teams to ensure alignment and mitigate risks.
Dispute Resolution & Legal Advisory
- Provide guidance on pre-litigation matters and ongoing or potential legal disputes with clients or vendors.
- Support internal stakeholders in resolving contractual disagreements through negotiation or legal redress.
Process, Risk & Compliance Management
- Assist the Lead Contract Administration (Design & Build) in implementing standard procedures, contract administration processes, and risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and legal frameworks in all contract-related matters.
Sector Knowledge
- Leverage prior experience in EPC contracts to drive best practices in the construction sector.
- Candidates with experience in infrastructure or construction domains will have a distinct advantage.
Location - Mumbai- Fort
Working days - 5 Days - Monday to Friday
