Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Process Developer in Risk Management (CAT Modeling) at Genpact, you will be operating in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment, requiring a positive can-do attitude. Your primary responsibilities will include submission review, data scrubbing, coding of COPE information, importing and validating exposure data in software, geo-coding all locations, understanding insurance layer structure, interpreting slip/binders, generating insights for better risk management based on client data, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Submission review: - Checking for completeness of data submitted by underwriters - Following up with underwriters for necessary information such as SOV, Slip, etc. - Data scrubbing: - Converting client-provided data into CAT Modelling software format. - Coding of COPE information. - Importing and validating exposure data in Software. - Geo-coding all locations and analyzing exposure. - Understanding Insurance layer structure. - Ability to read and interpret slip/binders to identify terms and conditions. - Generating insights for better risk management based on client data. Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Post Graduation degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Insurance. - Knowledge of General Insurance concepts. - Experience working with MS Excel (Lookups, Pivot, countif, sumif, charts, etc.), PowerPoint, and Word. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Time management and planning skills. - Ability to handle work pressure. - Problem-solving skills with a delivery-focused mindset and attention to detail. - Speed of execution. - Good interpersonal skills. - Willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - SQL & VBA knowledge (Added Advantage). - Advanced Excel Skills (Added Advantage). (Note: The location of the role is in India-Pune and is a full-time position. The education level required is a Bachelor's/Graduation/Equivalent.),
