Job Description
Job Position: Warehouse Executive
Qualifications: Bachelors degree
Key Requirement for the Position: Inbound/Outbound Operation, GRN, Put away, Issuance of Materials, ERP, Record-Keeping, and Inventory management
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Location: Madhavaram, Chennai
Job Description:
Inbound/Outbound Operations:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse inventory.
- Perform arithmetic checks on inbound and outbound packages.
- Conduct preliminary QC checks for damages.
- Verify the GST invoices, DC, pack slip, BOE, freight, and clearance for accuracy and completeness.
- Process of GRN and put away.
Documentation:
- Maintain daily filing of physical documents.
- Shared Folders/Cloud Storage: For scanned copies and trackers.
Returns & Warranty:
- Return Note: For field returns or rejected items.
- Warranty Claim Forms: For faulty items under warranty.
Data Management: Daily Trackers: Excel/system-generated reports for GRN, Inward, Put-away, Warranty and Replacement, etc.
Internal Movement & Issue:
- Material Requisition Slip (MRS): Request for internal issue.
- Issue Slip / Transfer Note: For movement between departments or locations.
- BOM (Bill of Materials): For production-related issues.
Technical Skill:
- Proficiency with ERP System
- Data analytics and Report Preparation
- Handling Inventory Management System
Soft Skills:
- Effective Communication
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
- Team Collaboration
Safety Compliance:
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations
- Proper Use of PPE
- Compliance with Organizational standards
