Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Strong business understanding of Asset management, reconciliations
- Should have worked as checker/ reviewer for cash and position reconciliations processes, on behalf of asset manager
- Should have exposure to products: Equity, Fixed income, Bank loans, OTC/ ETD derivatives
- Excellent communication, execution and presentation skills. Must have strong capabilities in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Ability to identify the risks, escalate to right levels and track until closure
- Should have proven track record of getting the work done by resources without having direct authority over them
- Should have experience with reach-out (over the calls) to external parties to get resolution on open breaks.
- Should be smart to rearrange the priorities, find solutions on roadblocks
- Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self starter & highly motivated
- Good with numbers and ability to derive information from data
- Responsible for performing independent audits/ checks on the population of aged / risky breaks that cross defined thresholds
- Track the action to be taken on identified breaks and ensure completion within a day
- Continue identifying risks/ issues in the process and raise to senior mgmt
- Gather, review and save evidence that are used to perform the checks
- Create risk summary and present to client and eclerx senior mgmt
- Earmark the breaks population pending with external parties and call them to get quick resolution
- Strengthen the process governance and assist with defining refined controls
