Title - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Designation - Sr. Engineer
Location - 1X600MW, Jhabua Power Ltd., Seoni, M.P.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Essential Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech Electrical
Preferred Qualification - Electrical Engineering
Experience - 5 to 10 Years

Desired Profile 

1. Min. 5 years of relevant experience in the electrical maintenance of the BTG area in a thermal power plant (Experience with 250MW BHEL unit will be preferred)

2. Understanding of electrical systems in thermal power plant.

3. Familiarity with switchgear (11kV/3.3kV/415V), protection systems, and auxiliaries

 

Roles and Responsiblities

1. Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of BTG area electrical equipment such as:

HT/LT motors and auxiliary systems

HT / LT Switchgear

Power and Distribution Transformers

Protection relays

Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions to reduce equipment downtime.

Perform testing and calibration of protective relays, CTs, PTs, and other electrical components.

Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare and maintain maintenance records, history cards, and technical reports.
