What youll build
- Facilitate onboarding of new customers in SAP ECS private cloud.
- Lead a team and be accountable for validation of customer landscape as per ECS architecture and tool standards, evaluate and confirm delivery schedule feasibility.
- Collaborate with multiple SAP internal and partner teams which are collectively accountable for an effective and smooth onboarding of new customers and subsequent landscape extensions.
What you bring
Primary Skills:
- 8+ years of SAP Basis hands-on experience in one or more of these: Installations, Production support (L3 level), Upgrades, Migrations.
- Good knowledge of SAP Products and Architecture.
- Good technical knowledge/experience in Operating systems (Windows, Linux etc.)
- Hands-on experience in HANA DB. Good knowledge of DB concepts/architecture and experience with ASE and/or other databases will be added advantage.
- Good technical knowledge/experience in Business Continuity (HA and DR).
- Good technical knowledge/experience in Cloud technology.
- Bachelor s or higher degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent).
Secondary Skills:
- Very good communication skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure during peak load periods.
- Will need to work with and manage communication with Architects, Sales and Management. Good skills in expectations management and prioritization.
- Quick learner and ability to acquire expertise with ECS Tools and Processes.
- Certification in one or more of these: SAP NetWeaver, Cloud Technology, Operating Systems, Databases
Where you belong
Together with your team, you will work in the SAP Enterprise cloud Services with Technical Operation Unit (TECH-OP) which is IT-infrastructure provider to the SAP Cloud Customers and is responsible for running SAP s ECS External customer landscape as World class service provider for SAP products. In ECS we are building, managing, and running 3000+ customer landscapes in SAP DC and Hyperscaler like Azure, GCP, AWS with most advance technology. We are highly motivated and skilled engineers with locations in Germany, Mexico, India, and US
