Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Speech Therapist

1. Conduct speech and language assessments and prepare individualized therapy plans.

2. Help patients improve articulation, fluency, and voice quality.

3. Provide therapy for language comprehension and expression difficulties.

4. Treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) using safe feeding techniques.

5. Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises.

6. Maintain patient progress reports and therapy documentation.

7. Use assistive communication devices or technologies when necessary.

8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for holistic patient care

Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assess patients physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.

2. Design individualized treatment programs to improve functional independence.

3. Teach adaptive techniques for self-care, work, and leisure activities.

4. Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, splints).

5. Support children with developmental or sensory processing disorders in school settings.

6. Guide caregivers and family members in supporting rehabilitation at home.

7. Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, and speech therapists for comprehensive care.

8. Maintain accurate records and evaluate therapy outcomes.
