Job Description
We are seeking an experienced US Payroll Specialist to join our HR Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for US employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within the defined SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete US Payroll processing, including pre-payroll, processing, reconciliation, and post-payroll activities.
- Ensure compliance with US tax laws, wage regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll-related issues.
- Validate payroll inputs, deductions, and adjustments with utmost accuracy.
- Resolve employee queries and manage escalations related to payroll.
- Generate payroll reports and ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in US Payroll Processing.
- Strong understanding of HCM tools such as Workday, SAP HCM / Payroll, Oracle HCM / Payroll, or Kronos.
- Good knowledge of US Payroll compliance, taxation, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a night-shift environment.
