Manufacturing Engineering Professional @ Blue Star

Job Description

Blue Star is looking for young Mechanical / Production engineers for our Production department to be deputed to our Wada Factory in Palghar District

Role & responsibilities

Production:-

- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

- Monitor daily production as per the production planning & utilization of manpower as per the

norms

- Check production output according to specifications

- Monitor Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Identify issues in efficiency and suggest

improvements.

- Maintain inventory control practices and procedures to ensure an accurate supply of raw

materials.

- Ensure JH & 5S on shop floor.

- Responsible for maintaining product & process quality as per the quality standard.

- Participation in manufacturing excellence Six Sigma, QCC, KAIZEN, Pokayoke

- Monitor & reduce scrap percentage

- Conduct DWM meetings.

MIS, Review & Reports:-

- Prepare MIS / MRM for the representation of management

- Follow QMS process

- Update daily production in SAP

New Product Development:-

- Participate in NPD process and give recommendations or suggestions as deemed fit

Training & Development:-

- Responsible for multiskilling of Operators

- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

- Acquire product knowledge

Safety:-

- Ensuring Attending to the safety requirements of the plant

- Responsible to follow practice & processes as per ISO 45001 for their respective department

Preferred candidate profile

Essential: B.E./B.Tech. specialization in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, with 0-1 Year of Experience

This role is based out of manufacturing facility at Wada, Palghar District and would involve working in shifts.
