Job Description
Job Title : Supply Chain Trainee
Location: Chennai, Adyar
Salary: 12000/Month
Hindi speaking candidates is preferred
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to support our procurement operations and customer handling activities. This role will provide exposure to vendor sourcing, purchase management, and direct customer interaction. The candidate will work closely with the procurement team and sales/customer service team to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers/vendors.
Collect quotations and prepare price comparison sheets.
Support purchase order creation and follow-up for timely deliveries.
Maintain vendor database and procurement records.
Coordinate with logistics partners for delivery and shipment tracking.
Customer Handling
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Share quotations, order confirmations, and delivery updates with clients.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate issues where required.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team.
Requirements
Recently completed Bachelors degree (BBA, B. COM, Diploma).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of procurement or supply chain concepts preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
