We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance (e-learning, animation projects )to join our
team in Noida and contribute to our mission of driving innovaLon and excellence in
educaLon.
Job Summary:
A Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist for e-learning animation projects is responsible for
ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and overall quality of all animated educational content.
This role involves meticulous testing and verification across all stages of the production
pipeline to guarantee a seamless, engaging, and error-free learning experience for endusers.
The QA Specialist will verify content against project requirements, brand guidelines,
and technical specifications for various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Course Functionality & Interactivity Testing
- Conduct end-to-end testing of e-learning modules and animated courses to ensure
all interactive elements, such as quizzes, buttons, and navigation, function correctly.
- Verify that courses function as expected on all required devices, including desktops,
tablets, and mobile phones, in both portrait and landscape views.
- Ensure compatibility across different operating systems and web browsers (e.g.,
Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
- Test interactive feedback mechanisms to ensure learners receive appropriate
responses for correct and incorrect answers.
Visual & Content Quality Assurance
- Perform thorough reviews of 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and other
visual assets to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Check for visual consistency, including colour accuracy, text styles, alignment, and
adherence to branding guidelines.
- Proofread all on-screen text for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and accuracy
of facts and figures.
- Collaborate with animation and design teams to identify and resolve visual and
aesthetic inconsistencies.
- Verify all colour, palettes and shades are aligned with WACG guidelines.
Technical & Delivery Compliance
- Ensure all e-learning content complies with industry standards, such as SCORM or
AICC, by testing on platforms like SCORM Cloud.
- Test and troubleshoot e-learning modules to ensure seamless integration with the
Learning Management System (LMS).
- Verify that audio tracks (voice-overs, sound effects) are properly synchronized with
the animation and clear of quality issues.
- Monitor and document all bug reports, defects, and errors using a tracking system,
ensuring resolution with the development team.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Develop, maintain, and implement comprehensive QA checklists and test plans for
animation and e-learning projects.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and animators to
provide clear, actionable feedback throughout the development process.
- Provide support during pre-production by reviewing storyboards and scripts to
identify potential quality risks early.
- Record and report all QA findings and results, maintaining clear and organized
documentation.
Required Skills & Tools:
Tools
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe
Captivate).
- Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, ShotGrid).
- Working knowledge of animation software workflows (e.g., Adobe After Effects,
Blender, Maya) for asset review purposes.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a "test to break" attitude to identify defects and
issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate feedback clearly and
effectively.
- An understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find creative
solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional
teams.
- Experience in manual and automated testing, including developing test plans and
cases.
Deliverables:
- Comprehensive Test Reports: Documented reports detailing functionality, content,
and visual quality issues discovered during testing.
- Final Quality Sign-off: A final check and sign-off on e-learning modules and animated
content before deployment.
- Detailed Bug Tracking: An organized and up-to-date record of identified issues and
their resolution status.
- Effective Checklists: Reusable QA checklists for specific projects and platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Communications, Multimedia, or a related
field.
- 8-10 years of proven experience in a QA or QC role, preferably within e-learning,
animation, or design development.
- Experience working in a studio pipeline or e-learning/animation production
environment.
- A portfolio or work examples demonstrating meticulous attention to detail on
previous projects.
