Job Description
Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Experience: 1-3 Years
Employment Type: Full-time
Precision Group is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 13 years of experience to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating and streamlining development and operations processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment and monitoring, and supporting development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and improve system architecture.
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, integrations, and system configurations.
- Implement and maintain containerized environments using Docker and support orchestration using Kubernetes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 13 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Basic to intermediate experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Working knowledge of Linux systems and version control tools such as Git.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator) are an added advantage.
