Job Description
Role Summary
The company is looking for an SAP EAM Consultant (Enterprise Asset Management) who also has experience in SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities).
This role is specifically for someone with strong Utilities domain knowledge, especially in Device Management (meters, devices, installations, removals, lifecycle management).
What the Role Involves
You will be working in IS-U / Customer Service (CS) middleware utilities domain, which basically means:
- Supporting utilities clients (Electricity, Gas, Water companies)
- Working with systems that manage customer devices (meters, equipment)
- Coordinating between SAP PM/EAM and SAP IS-U modules
Primary Skill Required
SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
You must be strong in:
- Maintenance planning
- Work orders
- Equipment master data
- Preventive & corrective maintenance
- Asset management
This is the core skill for this role.
Additional Mandatory Skill
SAP IS-U Advanced level (69 years experience)
You must have:
- Strong working knowledge in the Utilities module
- Experience with functional processes related to Device Management, such as:
- Install/remove meters
- Device replacement
- Meter reading
- Billing-relevant processes
Also must have worked with at least 2 utility clients.
Experience Requirement
- 5 to 6 years minimum total experience in EAM + IS-U
- Must have SAP IS-U project experience
- Prior work for utility industry clients is mandatory
- Strong understanding of Device Management processes is essential
