Job Description
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for Murex Accounting and the wider Finance stream
- Functional Analysis of Accounting changes as shared by Murex and present the same to end users
- Define the process and report adaptations to be undertaken on account of Changes introduced in the higher version of Murex
- Represent the Accounting/ Finance stream at Project meetings and take charge of all critical upgrade-related activities
- Participate actively in discussions with business, understand their needs and transform them into a change or project initiative
- Follow up with vendor support as and when necessary to resolve bugs/issues
Skills
- Must have
- Experience working in the financial industry with relevant experience in Murex Accounting and Finance Module.
- Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience configuring accounting rules in Murex for various asset classes like Derivatives, FI, and FX.
- At least 1 Murex implementation or Murex Upgrade experience.
- Understanding of Finance reports -mainly P&L and accrual reports.
- Murex expertise for P&L-related configuration, like Accounting and Economic P&L, and associated components like past, future cash, etc.
Nice to have
- Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; FEM migrations, MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades
