Job Description
Our customer is a leading private bank in India that provides front-to-back integrated treasury solution. Bank is embarking upon first ever Murex upgrade (v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x) since implementation. Luxoft has been chosen as the System Integrator partner for this project and will have key roles across all the streams - Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Integration, Reporting, Test Management, Configuration Environment management. We are looking for experienced motivated Murex colleagues to join this exciting program and contribute towards the success of this engagement
- Configure, support, and enhance the platform''s back-office, treasury accounting, and General Ledger (GL) integration to ensure accurate financial processing and reporting.
- Lead validation, testing, and troubleshooting across treasury and accounting system environments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Apply strong knowledge of treasury accounting principles, including GL reconciliation, journal entries, financial close processes, and regulatory/management reporting.
- Act as a bridge between finance, accounting, and technology teams, translating business accounting requirements into system and functional specifications.
- Leverage prior experience with Summit or similar treasury/trading platforms to support accounting workflows, issue resolution, and system optimization.
- Provide hands-on functional expertise in settlements, collateral management, static data, reference data, and accounting modules.
- Support reconciliations, and control checks by ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and documentation.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, expected of a Chartered Accountant.
Must have
- Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification).
- Exposure to FO/BO (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Collateral, Accounting, Interface Workflows, or Hedge Accounting) module would be an added advantage
- Good understanding of Murex trade, events life cycle interfaces
- Good domain knowledge of at least one capital market asset class:
- (FXC, FXD, FI, IRD, MM).
