Job Summary:
- Lead, Technical Architect, Supply Chain Application Delivery, Demand Planning
- This role is to support build and unit test of Demand Planning solutions for strategic projects using SAP, APO, o9, and Data Bricks tools.
- The DP technical Architect should have ability to quickly grasp complex DP BI requirement and build solution.
- He/she should have thorough understanding of Demand Planning processes along with Order to Cash and Finance touch points.
- The must have requirement for this role is a proven track record dealing with Demand Planning & SIOP relevant KPI's
Project Requirements:
- Collaborate with ELC Solution/Technical Architects to understand business requirements.
- Configure Demand Planning solutions. Discuss with ELC Architects to get alignment before developing and configuring solutions.
- Develop test scenarios for the demand planning solutions and participate in testing of new functionality to prepare for Hypercare.
- Work with ELC Architects on the technical design of data integration.
- Design and automate the data loading process with intelligent checks and balances for sustained value delivery.
- Perform regression testing on all monthly/Quarterly releases
Resource Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of APO configuration and data structure experience in Demand Planning
- At least 1 year experience in designing/testing non-SAP Demand Planning tools like o9
- Have deep understanding Data Structure used for Demand Planning processes across various tool sets
- He/she should be able to lead realignment and conversion of data between APO and o9, as well as the development of KPIs/reporting for data integration.
- Strong knowledge of BI as key data integration tool.
- Have experience testing Data Bricks pipelines for Demand Planning feeds to Data Lake
- Support cutover and hyper care for All brands Demand Planning go live.
Functional & Technical Knowledge:
- He/she should be able to understand the issues swiftly and resolve the problems within a short span of time due to his vast experience and technical knowledge.
- Co-ordination with other teams: He/she should be able to coordinate with Order Management, Finance and Supply Planning teams in order to resolve the issues promptly.
- Some knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in one or more languages like SQL, T SQL with knowledge of DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers and performance tuning
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Access/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain
- Patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to business partners expectations, even under pressure
- Ability to take complete ownership of solution build work and deliver solution with minimal oversight.
