Role Overview:
We are looking for a BIM Engineer & Modeler to join our NHRSCL (High-Speed Rail) project team. The role involves creating and managing Building Information Models for major transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coordination across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for structural and civil components of NHRSCL projects.
- Ensure models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans.
- Coordinate with design teams to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models.
- Perform clash detection, quantity take-offs, and model validation using BIM tools.
- Support design documentation and drawing extraction from BIM models.
- Maintain model integrity and update revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve design and modeling issues.
- Ensure adherence to international BIM standards and transportation sector guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in BIM modeling for infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
- Understanding of BIM workflows, LOD (Level of Detail), and data management.
- Knowledge of structural and civil design principles.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-speed rail or large-scale transportation projects.
- Familiarity with international BIM standards (ISO 19650).
- Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM and integration with project scheduling and cost estimation.
