Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Technology team. As Lead Cloud Engineer at Two Circles, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and platforms for our products and solutions, as well Clients own environments. You will work closely with our development and operations teams, as well as 3rd parties like our Cloud Service Provider, and mentor other Cloud Engineers, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of these cloud environments.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive experience designing, deploying and managing scalable and resilient solutions and cloud-native infrastructure according to good practice with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure as code, networking, security, back-ups, key vaults, monitoring and AR
- Hands-on experience configuring and leading use of Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, infrastructure monitoring solutions and environment management
- Proactively managed capacity and performance, setting the tone for a culture of continuous improvement, including scaling solutions globally, ensuring DR & BCP and optimising peoples time through automation
- Implemented security controls, such as IAM, encryption and compliance standards to ensure security and integrity
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and best practices, such as WAF and PoLP
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
- Proficiency in provisioning and managing both IaaS and PaaS resources, including storage accounts, networks, Azure SQL, VMs, including Windows Server and SQL Server at the OS and application layers
- Experience with data engineering and analytics platforms, such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including VPNs, VNETs & peering, subnets, routing, firewalls and DNS
- Additional qualifications that would be beneficial for this role:
- Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect
- SQL Database administration in IaaS and PaaS implementations
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
