Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technology Director will be responsible for driving end-to-end technology delivery across large-scale enterprise programs. This role requires strong hands-on technical and architectural leadership, beyond traditional client or program management. The individual will lead delivery execution, make critical technical decisions, and build high-performing engineering teams across distributed environments. The ideal candidate combines deep engineering expertise, cloud-native architecture knowledge, and Agile delivery leadership, with a proven ability to scale platforms and teams within complex enterprise ecosystems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Delivery & Leadership:
Lead large-scale enterprise implementations and multiple Agile teams / Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Own end-to-end delivery, including planning, execution, quality, risk management, and timelines
Drive hands-on involvement in solution design, architecture reviews, and key technical decisions
Mentor and develop Engineering Managers, Architects, and Tech Leads Ensure consistent and predictable delivery outcomes across distributed and offshore teams
Technology & Architecture:
Provide technical leadership across:
AWS Cloud platforms (ECS, Lambda, S3, and related services)
.NET Full Stack development with Angular front-end
Microservices and cloud-native architectures
Review and guide application architecture, scalability, performance, and security
Lead adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, automation, and CI/CD
DevOps & Engineering Excellence:
Oversee CI/CD pipeline design, development, and optimization
Drive DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation tools
Promote strong engineering standards, code quality, and continuous improvement culture
Stakeholder & Client Engagement:
Act as a technology and delivery advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business and executive audiences
Partner with product, business, and operations teams to align technology outcomes with business goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Leadership:
Proven experience leading large, complex enterprise programs
Strong background in Agile delivery leadership (ARTs, Scrum of Scrums SAFe preferred).Demonstrated ability to manage and scale distributed engineering teams
Technical Expertise:
AWS Cloud: ECS, Lambda, S3 (hands-on or strong architectural leadership required). .NET Full Stack development with Angular
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Microservices, APIs, and cloud-native system design
Preferred Skills
Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira / Azure DevOps Boards
GitHub and GitHub Copilot, CI/CD and automation toolchains
