Role & responsibilities

HV CCS Technical Specialist (5+ years)

Mechanical Product Design | Automotive | Battery connection | HV | Plastics | DFM | Tolerance stack-up | Thermal | Harness| CAD

• Knowledge of automotive Battery connection system
• Awareness of different types of battery connections
• Knowledge of different automotive standards (ISO/DIN/USCAR/AIAG etc.)
• Electromechanical product Design knowledge & know-how
• Material Selection (Resin, Metal, Rubber etc)
• Knowledge of different metals such as Al/Cu/Pb/Ni etc.
• Knowledge of different connections such as USW/Resistance welding/Laser etc
• Knowledge of different surface treatments (Plating- Tin/Silver/Ni etc.)
• Thermal management Active & Passive, Use of Tim Material etc.
• Knowledge of 3D software (Solid Works /Catia V5)
• Product Design & Development (NPD- New Product Development Cycle)
• Lead and support end-to-end design activities for BBM/CCS systems
• Should have sound Knowledge of wiring harness, Vehicle Architecture, Plastic manufacturing processes.
• Should have deep understanding on Component & Connector Selection.
• Oversee RFQ analysis, concept feasibility, and customer technical discussions
• Conduct and guide Design study, GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design calculations.
• Lead DFMEA, DVP and design validation activities across stages
• Review and maintain documentation including BOMs, specifications, and design history
• Attend meetings with Customers, Cross Functional teams, Program managers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teamsmanufacturing, simulation, testing, and sourcing
