Job Description
Shell Scripting & Automation:
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate repetitive and complex middleware tasks.
- Create interactive scripts that handle user input and provide dynamic execution paths.
- Process and manipulate text using tools like grep, sed, and awk.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing automation scripts.
- Ensure scripts are modular, reusable, and well-documented.
Middleware Automation:
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring of middleware platforms (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, Apache).
- Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines.
Ansible Automation:
- Design and manage Ansible playbooks and roles for middleware provisioning and configuration.
- Ensure automation is secure, scalable, and idempotent and Job Scheduling
- Schedule and manage automation jobs using Jenkins.
Documentation & Collaboration:
- Document automation processes, script usage, and troubleshooting steps.
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to align automation efforts.
