Job Description
Job Title: Manager - Purchase
Company: Paramount Surgimed Limited
Location: A-106 RIICO Industrial Area, Bhiwadi Rajasthan-301019.
Annual CTC: Up to 10,00,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Budgeting
a) Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
b) Setting up weekly, monthly, and quarterly procurement plans.
c) Planning & budgeting of purchase functions (cost estimation, contract negotiations).
d) Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
2. Sourcing & Procurement Operations
a) Procurement of raw materials from national and international markets.
b) Development of alternative sources for raw materials for cost saving.
c) Purchasing machines with improved technology to increase production.
d) Ensuring cost-cutting to maximize credit terms.
3. Vendor Relationship Management
a) Effective management of vendor database.
b) Maintaining vendor satisfaction and ease of business.
c) ABC classification of vendors based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
d) Evaluating vendors and negotiating price, delivery, and terms.
e) Development of new vendors.
f) Conducting training for vendors and their teams to improve performance.
g) Running programs to evaluate vendors based on internal stakeholder feedback.
4. Inventory & Logistics Management
a) Liaison with production to maintain optimum inventory.
b) Implementing systems to avoid over-stocking or out-of-stock situations.
c) Conducting stock verification and documentation to ensure zero variance.
d) Implementing FIFO / LIFO inventory methods in the store.
e) Coordinating with logistics/transport vendors for timely dispatches.
f) Regularizing material receipts and ensuring fluidity of stocks between plants.
5. Financial Liaison & Compliance
a) Liaison with the finance department for timely payment of bills.
b) Timely clearance of payments and handling vendor inquiries.
6. Reporting & Data Management (MIS)
a) Developing reports on procurement and material usage for top management.
b) Maintaining the MIS (Management Information System) of purchase in respect to stock.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-12 years of progressive experience in Purchase and Supply Chain.
- Strong expertise in machine/parts technical knowledge is essential.
- Proficiency and experience with SAP B1 is required.
