Purchase Engineers - Mechanical Components - MNC - Kochi

Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring mechanical components and spares required for production, maintenance, and projects. The role focuses on cost optimization, quality compliance, vendor development, and timely availability of components as per technical specifications. Procure mechanical components and spares such as bearings, gears, shafts, fasteners, valves, couplings, motors, pumps, belts, chains, seals, and fabricated parts. Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requisitions in coordination with engineering and maintenance teams.

Preferred candidate profile : BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience in purchasing mechanical components in manufacturing.
